Mr. Owallo and CORD Leader Raila Odinga at a past event
Leder of the CORD Secretariat leader Eliud Owalo has quit CORD and sebsequently withdrawn his ODM Membership following bitter spats with Raila's Cousin Jakoyo Midiwo.

In a letter addressed to Mr. Raila whose copy is in our possesion , Mr Owalo explains in detail the reason for quiting the coalition and cites irreconcilable differences with Mr.Midiwo as the primary reason for his decision.

Among many other duties Mr. Owalo is considered to be Raila's henchman after the March 4th election. Together with Okiya Omtata they formed the March 4 movement which was supposed to lead a series of  protest against the Jubilee win but failed as soon as it started. Mr. Owalo hit headlines after he was grilled for hours by the CID.

It remains to be seen how this will affect the alredy troubled ODM and by extension CORD
