ICC ISSUES ARREST WARRANT FOR KENYAN JOURNALIST WALTER BARASA

The International Criminal Court has issued an Arrest warrant for former  Nation Media Journalist Mr. Walter Barasa for alleged "corruptly influencing" a person he thought was a prosecution Witness,
In a press statement ICC prosecutor said the warrant had been received by Kenyan Authorities and Kenya was expected to hand him over for the commencement of his case in front of the ICC judges

Reacting yo the news Mr. Barasa any wrongdoing and said .
“I have not violated any law… Why should I be arrested?”
Kenyans reacted angrily to the warrant blaming the ICC prosecution of wasting Kenyans time.
Meanwhile China has reiterated its calls for the ICC to unconditionally drop the charges against the Kenyans leaders President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto. This comes as the African Union intensified its anti ICC campaigns terming the court as biased against the Continent.
